Acer presents the new Chromebook CD3-111, which works thanks to the very low power Intel dual-core Celeron processor N2830 without fan. Additional equipment features of the compact 11.6-inch device running Google Chrome OS include up to 4 gigabytes of RAM and up to 32 gigabytes of internal flash memory.
The Celeron N2830 in the new Acer Chromebook is part of the energy-efficient and designed by Intel for tablets and netbooks Bay Trail-M family. The SoC is 64-bit capable, integrated Intel graphics, a unit type HD Graphics and operates with a base clock of 2.1 GHz. With turbo function even up to 2.4 GHz are possible.
The Chromebook CD3-111 the screen measures 11.6 inches in diagonal and has LED backlight and HD resolution. The housing of the device is made of plastic and comes with external interfaces for USB 2.0, USB 3.0 and HDMI (1x each) therefore.
