ASUS has unveiled its new gaming mouse ROG (Republic of Gamers) Gladius at a price of 74.90 euros. In parallel, the matching mousepad ROG GM50 for 19,90 euro still appears. The manufacturer calls as specifications of the Gladius an optical sensor with 6400 dpi, 200 inches per second and acceleration of 50 G. Under the actual mouse buttons, the switches can be replaced for the first time at a mouse from ASUS. In addition, ASUS confirmed that the Gladius is suitable for both palm and claw grip player.
Overall, the ASUS ROG wired Gladius has six programmable buttons. From factory Omron switches are installed, but can be replaced afterwards. Matching buttons are separately according to ASUS commercially available. Besides some spare switches, a transport bag and a Quick Start Guide included with the mouse as well.
As accessories is loud ASUS ROG GM50 the pad with woven surface for optimum sliding. In addition, the edges of only 3.5 millimeters thick mouse pads are stitched so they will not fray.
