ASUS has updated its notebook catalog with ZenBook UX410UA and UX410UQ, two models with similar characteristics, with the exception of discrete integrated video card in the second. Both offer a wide choice of processors, all based on Intel Kaby Lake, type of storage (SSD or HDD) and various connectivity options. ASUS has not announced prices, but they are expected figures quite high.
The new ZenBook UX410 have an aluminum frame and a 14-inch IPS screen with full HD resolution (1920 × 1080 pixels), anti-reflective coating and viewing angles of 178 degrees. The very thin frame (6 mm) made it possible to reduce the width of the notebook. ASUS Splendid Technology sets up the various parameters for optimum viewing of any content. One of the ways (Eye Care) reduces the emission of blue light up to 30% to be easy on the eyes. The configuration available include Intel Core i7-7500U, Core i5-7200U and Core i3-7100U, up to 16 GB DDR4 RAM, hard disk of 500 GB and 1 TB, SSD M.2 with 128/256/512 capacity GB.
The ZenBook UX410UQ integrates a discrete video card GPU NVIDIA GeForce 940MX, more powerful than the Intel Graphics GPU 520. Connectivity is provided by 802.11ac WiFi and Bluetooth modules. There are also an SD slot, USB 3.1 Type-C, USB 3.0 and two USB 2.0, HDMI output, HD webcam, audio ASUS SonicMaster and glass touchpad with integrated fingerprint reader. The user can then choose a backlit keyboard.
The two UX410 ZenBook have a thickness of 18.95 mm and a weight of 1.6 Kg. The operating system is Windows 10 (Home or Pro). The notebooks will be available in the colors Quartz Grey and Rose Gold.
