Onkyo has launched a new multimedia player, with not only a CD player built in, but also the ability to play “liquid music”, both from USB, both from the local network. The product takes the name of C-N5050, and is presented with an accurate construction, which comprises a frame anti-vibration. In addition to reading the CD, you can take your music from Apple devices through the USB port, streaming via DLNA or directly from your smartphone or tablet by applying Onkyo Remote App. There are, of course, the numerous web radio, available free of charge (the only requirement is to connect to the network).
C-N7050 using a digital to analog converter Burr-Brown PCM 1795 that supports sample rates up to 192kHz / 24-bit PCM files, in addition to files DSD 2.8 and 5,6MHz. E ‘can apply an upsampling (an improvement of the original quality) to 32 bits, thanks to a dedicated DSP.
The factory specifications show a frequency response of 10Hz – 70kHz, with a signal / noise ratio of 115dB, a dynamic range of 108dB and total harmonic distortion of less than 0.003%. Available connections include two USB 2.0 ports (one front) and the analog outputs of CaSR, digital optical and coaxial, in addition to the Ethernet port.
