The PowerShot G7 X is Canon’s first compact digital camera that features a 1 inch sensor. Photos are recorded with a resolution of 20.2 megapixels and videos in Full HD quality. The display is touch sensitive and can be flipped 180 degrees. The camera comes in October 2014 for 650 euros in the trade.
Canon has unveiled at Photokina a new compact camera model. The Canon PowerShot G7 X is aimed primarily at advanced amateur photographers who want to have their camera wherever possible thereby. The one-inch image sensor promises good image quality in a compact design.

The objective of the G7 X features a 4.2-fold optical zoom and 20.2 megapixels with triggers. With a light intensity of 1: 1.8 to 2.8 can be personalized with the camera and photos with some depth of field effect realize. Canon promises a high response speed of the camera by use of the image processor 6 Digic. therefore should succeed 6.5 frames per second. Settings can be made, inter alia through a lens ring.
