The HP 8 G2 is based on the same platform around a AllWinner A33 Quad Core ARM SoC 1.2 GHz and will probably cost around 180 euros. The HP 8 G2 has a 7.85-inch IPS display in 4: 3 format, which dissolves with 1024 × 768 pixels. What is certain is that this Android 4.4.2 “KitKat” is in use, which seems to have been little changed as usual at HP – apart from the in-house photo and Printing Apps.
