At CES 2015, HP announced two new portable computer class of mobile workstations. By default, these portable devices are equipped with a dual-core processor Intel Core i5-5200U, but can be optionally installed dual-core Core i7. The standard configuration comes with 4 GB of RAM, which can be extended to a maximum of 16 GB.
As 14-inch laptop HP ZBook 14 G2, and 15.6-inch 15u G2 are available with a resolution of 1366×768 pixels displays of up to 1080p. There are also modifications touchscreen only one resolution – 1080p. The graph is provided by graphics accelerator Intel HD, 14 G2 model can be optionally equipped with a video card AMD FirePro M4150, and the model 15u G2 – the video card AMD FirePro M4170. Volatile memory is a combination of hard and flash disks, the information volume of which is chosen by the buyer.
Workstations equipped with Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.0 and 4G (optional) modules for wireless and mobile connections and four USB 3.0 ports.
The price of the laptop ZBook 14 starts at $ 1,249, and the model 15u G2 – from 1199 USD. Sales start from January 12 this year.
