Startech, belonging to the German tuner Brabus Group and specializes in the development of models Jaguar-Land Rover, has unveiled its latest creation on the basis of the Land Rover Defender 110. In view of the end of production of the famous British 4×4, after fewer than 68 years distinguished career, the studio has created a special Teutonic Defender declined in a limited edition of only 68 copies.

Baptized with the name of Sixty8, aesthetically the car stands out for the particular two-tone livery which blends the color of the car body “Corris Grey Metallic” with the roof painted in contrast with the color “Santorini Black”, not to mention the front grille and bumper also painted in black. The scenic effect is completed by the protective plate in aluminum placed under the front bumper and customized by the initials Sixty8, in addition to the kit alloy wheels “Startech Monostar D” 18-inch and tinted rear windows. The aesthetic package signed by Startech gives the Defender a vintage look that recalls the style of the unforgettable Land Rover Series 3, built between 1971 and 1984.

The interior is customized to the last detail and with high quality components. Seats, dashboard, door panels and center armrest are upholstered in fine leather with contrasting seams, available in colors “Tan Light Brown” and “Ebony Black”, without forgetting the sports pedals and shift knob in aluminum. From the point of view of technology and entertainment, the German computer has increased the endowment of the car with a sophisticated multimedia system of Alpine, including high-fidelity audio system combined with a satellite navigation system with 3D maps.

Under the hood of the Defender Sixty8 Startech beats the 2.2-liter common rail turbodiesel engine, capable of downloading 122 hp and a maximum torque of 360 Nm. The power and torque are controlled by a manual six-speed gearbox and traction downloaded sull’inarrestabile Full-time Land Rover, with a differential lock between the two axes. The Land Rover Defender Sixty8 by Startech is offered at a list price amounts to 67,990 euro for the five-seat version and € 69,900 for the version with seven seats (the lists are for the German market and include VAT at 19%).
