LG shows the successor to the Tab Book and continues to engage on the side of the hybrid devices 2-in-1. Thought of as a tablet, presented together with an ultrabook (LG Ultra PC), the slider LG Tab Book 2 is designed to summarize and integrate special characteristics of different mobile devices. The amenities are well respected watch with interest to this convertible is meant to represent, if not the ultimate solution, at least a viable alternative for users looking for a versatile and handsome co-worker.
LG Tab Book 2 has a slide-out full QWERTY keyboard that slides out and makes tilting the display fluid and rapid transition from laptop to tablet. The screen has a touch panel, IPS Full-HD 1920 × 1080 pixels of resolution with a diagonal of 11.6 “. An Intel Core i5 fourth generation beats under the shell at 2.6 GHz frequency; 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of SSD storage in round off the technical specifications. Present also a USB 3.0 port, an HDMI and a slot for microSD.
LG has provided two different versions of the new Tab Book 2, respectively 11T740, featuring the Intel Core i5 and 11T540 (pictured) with Intel Atom 22nm. The flagship 11t740 will have a thickness of 16.7 mm and a weight of 4.1 kg; minimal changes to the “littel sister” (as it was affectionately called by LG) 11t540. Have not yet been given news about the battery capacity and the launch price of these new LG born at home.
Android in release 4.2 will crank the system. So here we are reflections. Arriving probably in September, at the show of ‘IFA in Berlin, this new slider comes with a powerful heart, the Intel Core i5, but it can overcome any obstacle? The mind and the body of this device will live up to its heart? Can Android (in an older version …) act as a counterbalance to a solution for Windows laptop? It makes sense to replace lightweight tablet, such as iPad Air, with one to 1kg?
