The model “Smart Camera Lumix CM1” is to combine the image quality of a compact camera with the benefits of a smartphone, according to the manufacturer. To ensure high quality of the photos you bet on a sensor with an inch (!) Size at a brightness of f / 2.8. The images with 20 megapixels can then either be saved in JPEG format or as raw data.
When the lens is a 28mm fixed focal length of Leica optical zoom is therefore not available. The lens ring is rotatable but what it should be possible to change settings such as aperture or ISO speed quickly. Visually, the Smart Camera CM1 definitely a chic impression, the structured surface should provide the necessary grip. The display coincides with the CM1 4.7 inches from quite compact and triggers with Full HD. The frame around the display look not too thick, control buttons appear on the screen. Getting used to, however, could be that all hardware buttons are on the right page.
On page connectivity stands next to the micro-USB port also LTE Cat. 4 (up to 150 Mbit / s) and NFC and Bluetooth and GPS. The battery is sufficiently large with 2600 mAh. The camera smartphone will be available from November this year in limited quantities for a price of 899 euros.
