Microsoft sues Samsung

Microsoft sued the manufacturer Samsung: The cause is a dispute over royalties, which deal with specific techniques and functions that affect the operating system Google Android. According to Microsoft, Samsung have set the due payments easy. The manufacturer from South Korea argues again that Microsoft takeover of Nokia have the original license agreement overridden. Samsung had to be satisfied with the agreement from the beginning who had obliged the manufacturers remove both royalties and to develop smartphones with Windows Phone.

Google described the agreement forced by Microsoft at that time as exploitation. Microsoft disagrees and is convinced that Samsung have the payments set without a trial in court, because the South Korean company hazard a guess that it was wrong.

Microsoft now requires in its action a resumption of payments, payment of amounts previously withheld as well as an injunction to prohibit the Samsung Microsoft’s acquisition of Nokia exploit.
