Philips started selling in China in I966 Aurora, a new smartphone with hardware features like a true “top of the line” and not based on the Android platform but on Yunos (also known as Aliyun OS), an operating system developed by Alibaba, and for solely for the Chinese market.
Philips I966 Aurora incorporates a 5.5-inch diagonal display with a resolution of 1440×2560 pixels QuadHD, a 801 Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, a quad-core 2.5GHz, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of onboard memory, a biometric scanner for fingerprint recognition digital, a 20.7-megapixel back camera made by Sony with a dual LED flash, a front camera 8 megapixel, support for LTE networks and a 3000mAh battery.
Elevate features and higher the price. The Philips I966 Aurora is only sold in China in 3699 yuan, about 470 Euros, through one of the major distributors. Difficult to imagine that it can cross the borders of China.
