The smartphone Sony Xperia E3 could soon have a successor. Despite the current model has been placed on the market just three months ago during the IFA 2014 in Berlin, it seems that the Japanese company is ready to present an updated version of the device, called the Sony Xperia E4 and a preview of the site Polish TeleGuru.pl.
The device comes in two versions, a single SIM (E2105) and a dual SIM (E2115), and seems to be equipped with an IPS display 5 “qHD 540×960 instead of the small screen from 4.5” of the previous model, a quad -core MediaTek MT6582 1.3GHz, GPU Mali 400 MP4, 1GB of RAM and 4G LTE connectivity, while the native operating system would be Android version 4.4 KitKat, ready to be upgraded to Lollipop in the first half of 2015.
The source shows some images of starvation smartphone, featuring a side frame thinner than the Xperia E3 and a polycarbonate back cover embellished with a texture that beautifies the aesthetics and improves grip.
In all likelihood Sony announces Xperia E4 at Mobile World Congress 2015, held in Barcelona from 2 to March 5 next year, and then placing it on the market soon after at a price of around 160 Euros.
