Sony has unveiled the Xperia M2 Aqua, a waterproof entry-level smartphone with Google Android 4.4. The screen of 4.8 inches with 960 x solves to 540 pixels. As a sales price are confirmed at least for the USA already converted 263 euros. In Europe, however, the Sony Xperia M2 Aqua will also appear. Additional specifications include a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 with four cores and 1.2 GHz, 1 GB RAM and 8 GB of storage space. The camera snaps photos with 8 megapixels. A battery with 2330 mAh provides up to 11 hours of operating time.
The Sony Xperia M2 Aqua is only 8.6 mm thick and certified to IP65 / 68th This means that the smartphone is fully protected against dust and can take even longer and deeper stay underwater as for example Sony’s flagship, the Xperia Z2.
