Swatch has always denied a partnership with Apple to develop its “iWatch”. This does not mean that the Swiss company is not working to its smartwatch. Thanks to an interview in a local newspaper, the company’s CEO said that the next generations of Swatch Touch will be equipped with biometric sensors and for fitness. To date, the Swatch Touch are “simple” watch with touchscreen and some advanced features, such as cronomentro and alarm.
The addition of sensors that monitor our vital signs would attract a lot of “techno-geeks” to this new device that you can not quite define a smartwatch. No information has been released regarding the release date.
