Thermalright has launched the “Macho Zero” another version of this cooler series on the market. The new model in the “Black-Nickel-design” is equipped with six 6 mm heatpipes and – as the name suggests additional – at little to no noise designed. That no fan is included, it is not uncommon for the enclosed “Fan Duct” does.
There are even two fan ducts – once for 120 and once for 140 mm. This should be connected to the rear case fan, which then sucks the warm air from the cooler and transported to the outside. But even a purely passive operation, or use of a separate fan is of course possible, depending on the CPU used and the user’s preferences.
Compared to previous models such as the Macho Macho cooler 120, the new Zero version has a larger base plate and is therefore according to the manufacturer “for current multi-core processors like the new Core i7 processors from Intel optimized”.
The 750 grams vast and 140x102x162 mm (LxWxH) measured Thermalright Macho Zero, including the two fan ducts will initially be available exclusively at Mind Factory. As of mid-December, he will then be Europe-wide available commercially.
