Toshiba has announced the start of sales of the third generation of memory cards SD, equipped with a wireless interface.
Cards FlashAir III may play a role of wireless access points, allowing users to share data. Recorded files are available on the cards with mobile devices and PCs, which is enough to use the mobile application or browser.
It is important that FlashAir III provides the ability to simultaneously access data on the card and the Internet (via a separate wireless router), whereby it is possible to immediately upload files to the network. Simultaneously to the card, you can connect up to seven clients, including PCs, tablets and smartphones. Of course, transfer files between them can be in the absence of an internet connection.
Mobile application FlashAir for wireless access to the card is in the versions for iOS and Android.
Sales of memory cards Toshiba FlashAir III will begin in March 2015. Price 16GB model is $ 80, 32GB – $ 100.
